Post Downhill Idle Problem

I was in line for our Saturday outing today and was on a steep downhill incline. My car never has an issue at idle but it died on me until I increased the idle. I circled around to see if it would do it again and it did. Is this an indication of too low float level or something else. Card doesn't leak a drop, doesn't die when stopping quickly but this was something new.

Check where the gas line goes into carb? May be to far in effecting gas flow! Or rust in the tank.!?

Seems like it's got to be fuel starvation due to carburetor angle, which I think has to be due to too low float level. THere's a little U-tube dealie you can hook up and see the gas level from the outside. Is the motor mounted at the correct angle?

I would experiment in the driveway by jacking up rear end (with front well-blocked), or set E-brake, remove front wheels and jack front up and down. Or, just build ramps with scrap wood etc. to drive rear wheels up on.
