An interesting back drop for a photo shoot
When coming back from an Anadarko, OK car show this weekend, we zipped through a little town called Wayne, Ok. It had a long closed restaurant right at the edge of the highway that looked like a fun place for a photo shoot with an old car. Unfortunately, my Model A pickup is being worked on so I can't venture there anytime soon, but just thought I'd share some photos of the false front buildings beside the restaurant.
Wayne probably does not have enough of a population to support hiring the necessary staff to make a go of such a restaurant. It was run down quite a bit, but it looks like it was a fun place when it was in operation. It was more of an early western theme, but it would make a good back drop for a photo shoot of a Model A or vintage auto, I'd bet. |
