Default Tire Wear?

This ccpu got new tires in about 1962. Ward's Riverside's. They don't look all that bad, but new tires are in the near future.

My brother and I were trying to figure out how much this old A had been driven since '62, as the speedometer/odometer hasn't worked until papanick rebuilt it about two weeks ago...and it got a new cable...

The tire tread remaining is between .225" and .240" depending on where you measure.

What do you suppose the new tread depth was?

I bet this hasn't had 2000 miles put on it since 1962......
