Default Napa fuel filter p/n 3039

The filter has a lip that allows it to sit in the bowl without moving.

been using them for the past 8-9 years. Interesting thing is I buy mine under the WIX brand name and guess what WIX 3039 go figure. I researched their original application some years back. Like 1959 Caddy and Nash Rambler.

Wix is a fine manufacturer....probably one of the best...I used Wix for years...they are a commercial brand and do not advertise much other than in trade magazines...never once had a problem with them... good company.

I picked up the kit from Mike's Afordable Parts!

Where I am from, our joke is that NAPA stands for Never Any Parts Available, "We don't have it but we can get it for you!"

Sorry, that you have had problems with NAPA having what you need. At our NAPA store, where I work, we have some of the same problems with parts for older cars. We just can't afford to keep parts on the shelves for older cars. We can usually get them overnight, if our warehouse has them in stock. Most folks with antique cars will wait a day or two for us to get what they need.
