1939 Ford pickup with a visor?

I have been thinking that I would like to put a Fulton type visor on my pickup so I have been looking for pictures of a pickup or truck with one attached. I have not found any. As I don't have the visor and would have to go out and buy one I thought I would like to see a pickup with one installed. So if you guys have photos please post them.

I have a visor in my 39. If I remember I used a 39 convertible one.
I think the dimple marks in the truck match the bracket, I'll take a look.

I think that I wasn't clear when I said visor I was speaking on the outside of the cab like a Fulton

I think the Fulton type visors have been adapted more to the lowrider/rats/streetrods community. They have a place and I'm not sure a 38 truck is it. But it's your truck.

Although a visor doesnt look so bad on this COE.

I kinda like this one. That thing appears to have simple - plain - brute force.

Now THIS one.......I could go with this one, for sure. Not only does it "work" better with the brutish COE, but it's also a much nicer shaped and angled visor. No sunglasses necessary now! DD

The early Ford cabs are fairly narrow and I think most of the visors were designed to be used with the later (wider) cabs. Also they typically wont work with a crank out windshield as there usually is a center brace that attaches to the windshield center strip. If you don't plan on opening the windshield that probably isn't a problem. Here is a site that may give you some different ideas. There is a visor sold for VW's that looks like it could be close in size. I love visors on trucks but they need to be proportional to the cab or they look goofy. http://www.klassiccarparts.com/Pages/default.aspx

The one on the COE looks more like a Dietrich than a Fulton. Most of them have do to have some structure on the center or they will not stay on very well. The pre-37 cars don't have a center support spot and as was mentioned the roll open types would not be able to roll open any more. Some of the ones made in the 50s for the single piece windshields had their center support attached to the cars top above the windshield but they would have to be the adjustable or universal type to get it to fit.

Quick google image search........ some are not 38/39s.

Great point about the front center windshield attachment.
I thought about it once on my truck, but after putting one on a 42 tudor sedan I had,
I decided against it on the 38. Fulton visors are huge visors. just an opinion from a 38 guy.

I think if you say "I've been thinking..." you open the door for opinions.
But either way it's no reason to get upset about peoples opinions especially on the internet.

Thanks to everyone that posted and especially those that put up photos.
I think I like the visor idea but it should be a narrower one and one that does not fasten to the center of the windshield something I had not considered.
Now I will start my search for just the right one. I will post pics when I am done.
