Default Bicycle rack for ford Coupe

My wife and I like to drive our Coupe and love to bike.
So I am looking for a plan to attache a 2 bike rack to the rear bumper brackets.
Did some Barner made one by any chance and is willing to share his idea.

Thanks

If you have seen the old bumper carriers for small motorcycles, they clamped on the chrome bumpers of cars in the 60's and had ann oval loop that the tires tucked into. You could build somethin like that and tie the upper bar to the spare tire

If you have a rear mounted spare, I know they made luggage racks back in the day the "Hung" off your spare tire and a few leather straps to hold it on so it will not fly off over a bump. The weight rested on the tire it self. I actually saw another of these racks yesterday at a show. If you need a picture, I will need to track down my buddy as he has one of these racks in his attick.

Coupster: This topic has come up before (somewhere). I'm ALSO looking for a way to carry my road bike on my '29 coupe. Here's a link to a rack for a VW Beetle I thought interesting (once you're on the site, scroll down a little for a photo). I've not yet tried to design it to adapt to the rear bumper of my Model A, but here it is. But, where to hang the second bike?? Front bumper? Ain't no Thule or Yakima bike racks for our "A's"!

I'll be watching to see what comes up.

Could you not fabricate a simple bike holder that would sit in a regular Model A fold down luggage trunk rack. We haul my better half's wheel chair on the rack.
