Default in line fuel filter

Is it good to put one on a stock 39 ford deluxe flat head? Where is one available? Jon Laing

Jon, an inline fuel filter is a very good idea. Almost anywhere between the tank and pump will suffice. On my 32 Model B, I have two....one between tank and pump and one separating pump and carburettor.

Put a 48 Ford fuel pump w/glass bowl and sintered or paper filter. It's visible from under the hood, easy to change and no fuel line connection under the car out of site. G.M.
