Yes keeping white walls clean and also stopping them discolouring in the sun is a real basta*d.

I find I can keeping them white for longer by keeping the sun off them ( as it streams through my garage window), by splitting black bin liner bags down one side and placing them over the wheels when the car is not in use.

Try "simple green". Dollar store (well... not a dollar). Turns my yellow white walls to white with a brush. Assuming I'm probably am removing a little tire too. Or not.

Bet vinegar and some baking soda would also do it.

Probably a 5% mix of bleach and water and elbow grease works too. Wash thoroughly.

....If it's not a after market factory blemish?

Don't know if this applies to all brands, but, Diamond Back does not recommend using bleach. " No bleach! Any ammonia based product will do, we have had the best luck with Simple Green and a cloth towel. Common yellow and green household sponges can take care of any stubborn stains."

The tire's are new, wrapped in plastic covering, bought through Discount Tire Shop. All tire's had a brown tint on them, this one would not clean up. l

I'll second the SOS pad. Also Simple Green works wonders.

I have a friend who purchased whitewalls for his car and they turned to a tan color. He tried several things but they would not clean up. He complained to the store he bought them from and they agreed to replace them with another brand of whitewall. No problems since. Might work for you.

I see Coker sells some product for the whitewalls they sell, have not used it. Ck the online reviews, summit sells it. YMMV
