That looks bad G.M. I know you will have that '36 back on the road soon. I keep buying up engines too just for instances like this.

So GM - are these pictures from TWO different engines . . . or only one? I'm hoping only one engine gave up it's ghost. That piston sure does look like detonation killed it -- the cylinder -- appears it has had some issue for awhile.

Good luck building another engine - seeing those pictures sure sucks!

Same engine 3 and 4 on drivers side. 4 has the bad piston. G.M.
