Anyone have a Wix part # they have used for a remote oil filter ? And while we are at it , the correct Wix # for a filter that works with the flathead 95% oil filter system. Thank you Fordbarners.

There are several types of remote filter bases; single top or side in/out, dual side in/out, and dual filter, available from many sources like Summit, Jegs, Speedway, NAPA etc. The NAPA Gold/Wix filter #1515 crosses over to the Fram PH8A and works with all the remotes.

There are a couple thousand listings on Ebay for remote filter mounts, just pick the one that will suit your needs.

Be sure you keep the IN and OUT connected to the correct ports on the block! IN on the filter bracket is the port for the original oil pressure gauge on the block. OUT on the filter bracket connects to the new hole drilled closer to the centerline.
