Default Exhaust/intake manifold ?

Looks like I have a gasket leak on my exhaust manifold, and am wondering which is the best gasket material to use for the replacements.
Also, I do not find a recommendation for torqueing the manifold nuts, and should they be torqued with the manifold hot or cold?
Thanks all, as usual
Burt

I like the copper gasket and just snug the bolts, then check them again after a couple heat cycles.

Make sure you install the washers correctly or you'll break the manifold.

Mac's has two copper clad gasket sets, they are identical except one set has "glands" built into them. Is there a preference?
Thanks again

The glands help, if your manifolds, particularly your exhaust, line up properly with the ports.

I put a TINY bead of high temp exhaust sealant around the bores on both sides of the copper gasket (NOT enough to "squirt" out)---I WON'T tell you how tight I torque them, 'cause everybody will ARGUE about it!
If you want to know, just PM me.
