Default Window frame snaps

Just checking. The snap buttons on the side of my window frame on my 28 roadster are screwed in. The ones along the top of the window frame are riveted.. Is this original to when the car was manufactured, or are all of them suppose to be screwed in? Car going to painter in 5 days and I need to remove these snaps.

The snaps along the top edge of my frame are pushed in, and one of them won't stay in. Did somebody drill a hole thru the back side of your frame and use a rivet to make them stay in ?

The ones at the top are press fit…..and generally don’t work all that great
By press fit, they have fingers that snap out flared in the hole…..if that makes sense

Thanks for the help. I am going to try and get the snaps out and put new ones in after my paint job.
