Haven't found anything too bad yet, other than some spiders. (I don't do spiders). But anyhow, I made More progress. Pics to come. Quote:
Today. There are parts and pieces everywhere! Sort of wish someone would've bought it a long time ago, may have faired better than it is currently! |

Made a little progress. There is a visible car now (sort of). Last pic is of the rear of the car thru the back of the coop.
Can see some fenders and other parts laying around also. Last edited by 2001GTTT; 04-26-2017 at 07:01 PM. |

Hey, you really have some treasures in those belt pulley assemblies too. Could there have been a machine shop around that all those came from?
Keep up the good work. |

Re: New guy with a crusty, rusty, 1930 A
There were two different body builders for Ford fordors. Briggs and Murray. There is a lot of wood in both of them. The top of the window openings have a slight curve for the Murray body. Briggs were straight across the top of the window openings.
Looking forward to seeing more of the car. Jeff

Yep, 1930 Murray fordor, It might or might not be a Town Sedan. You got two radiators, so there's more than just the parts of one car. Check that wind shield frame out carefully. They're expensive so don't write it off too quickly if it seems rusty. They're worth saving.

It would have been neat to have a time lapse camera in there to see just how long it took to get in that condition.

According to a metal shaping class I once took, I recall the instructor saying if you hit the metal in the right place it will regain its original shape....
