Exclamation Rusty spark plugs

What causes internal rusty 3X spark plugs when in good running engine ?
Only #2 plug. Cracked head or bad gasket ?

sound like you have water in that cylinder it does not take much. run it till it is worm let it set over night and pull that plug if there is ANY moisture on the plug at all, pull the head and fix it. it is better to be safe then sorry.

Valve open on No. 2 cylinder when the engine stopped?

I had a mouse set up winter quarters in Cylinder No. 4 of my Gordon Smith Air Compressor (see avatar) Made an awful mess of things. To the tune of $400 to straighten it all out.

How did he crawl up that tailpipe (cut off about 4' long) through that muffler?
