Default Spring covers

Just bought a new set of leaf spring covers for the 30 coupe. Was wondering what type of lube to soak into the pads. Do you guys use grease, engine oil, gear oil, what works best. Thanks

i used Red Grease on the springs and 600WT on the cover pads. VERY happy with the results.

I've done the same with the covers I've installed for people.

BTW, I know of at least two different makes for the covers, and I found Bert's in Denver and Little Dearborn in Mpls. had the better covers.
