Default paint off leather

so i am going around touching up paint and somehow got paint on my front seat. Just a swipe [black on tan ] just don't cut it. MAN ,DID I SHIT A BRICK ! ..So i hit the internet to learn is in almost imposable to remove paint from leather without some damage. Until someone said OLIVE OIL AND A SOFT RAG. So at this point what do i have to lose. I used a Q-TIP and rubbed very gently and it did come off in seconds... I AM A HAPPY DOG...

I took it off with WD40, it worked great with no discoloration.

yea Pete i hear ya, it happens mostly when ya turn your back.
2 years ago i had a dog jump up on the front fender as i watched in horror. i promptly hung the owner from a tree branch. fortunately it only scratched the clear and i was able to polish it out..
