Window raiser stem extender source

Seeking a source for an extender to fit on the window regulator stem to help window handle fit over new thicker door panel.
‘55 Crown Victoria. 16 spline, 7/16 diameter, clip retainer.
Anyone know of a source.
Been looking on Internet. Not seem to be finding matching.

Do you still have the spring underneath the panel". If so, take it out.



Never heard of such a thing unless made as a one off. Best bet is to remove the extra padding right where the handle goes, same diameter as the handle base.


Use a rubber mallet to set the handle. That is what I have done on the 50's Ford handles

Check with Mustang parts suppliers, you need an extension on window crank when switching to Pony interior, may be something you can use.

I've taken a drill just big enough to fit between the splines and drilled out the bottom of the handle a bit so it would stay attached to n the stem. Still had to lose the spring behind the trim panel.
