Been hot tanked, pressure tested and magnafluxed. OK, I won't have to do any chasing. I won't have to deal with HOURS of disassembly and years of black gook. I only have to drive 5 miles to pick it up at Fastenal. Shipping $175.00. Magnafluxed? It has 2 cracks vissable to the naked eye. 2 googes in one cylinder more than .0625. deep. Needs to be sleeved to use3.313 "pistons. One exhaust port has already been Iron-tite plugged!! NOT a good job. The seller *** DID NOT DISCLOSE ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS*** If you are really hurting for a block. FREE. An old German saying. Vee gets so soon old and so late schmart. I forgot to mention. Seller now wants $15.00 for the straps and $15.00 for the pallet. The nerve! I complained. Now he says " The best engine builder in the country says it's a good block for rebuilding" PS; I threw away a LOT blocks a LOT better than this one. Going to throw this $675.00 one away along with 4 others. Last edited by frames; 01-21-2023 at 03:58 PM. Reason: Added to rext. |

Re: 8BA engine block
Going to scrap this Kansas block and 4 others. The 4 others are nicer than the $675.00 Kansas one.
