Default Went for a Maiden voyage today!

Went to the Secretary of State today, set there of one and a half hours to get a historical plate for my speedster, as it was I was issued a temporary paper plate. I went home and glued it onto a thin piece of paneling and mounted it. The temperature today was fifty degrees but I just had to go for a ride. Boy it was just like riding a motorcycle on a cold day, the cold air made my eyes water but as you can guess I was in my Glory. I always wanted a Speedster and now I have one.

Good looking ride. Must have been great to get it all done. I see you have a heater so you should not have been cold. The water from your eyes were tears of joy.

I also like the color.

Every time I go for a maiden voyage I come back empty handed.
Guess the handsome prince beat me to them.

Looking good!! I am sure you will enjoy it. The seat looks pretty comfortable and warmer weather is coming. I just finished mine as well and have taken a number of chilly rides to test things out. What are the headlights from?

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Jerry, the headlights are Guide 682-C, they were used I believe in the late 30's to 40's. These were on a pickup that I acquired that had been in a fire.....the buckets had small dents etc. I spent sometime getting them up the way they are in the picture plus $ for the chrome and lamping kits and emblems.

30-Pickup and Tom Wesenberg:

The color is Niagara Blue Lite, a 1928 Ford color.........it was cross referenced and mixed from the paint number at a local store, Ridge Auto.
