This unit was sold by Monkey Wards.
I got it from a friend in the early 80's and recently discovered it.

A phone call to Wards back then produced a copy of the operators
instructions which included how to calibrate it.

Does anyone have a similar device and have you used it ???

Reliability ???

I am gauging if I need to keep it around since I have not used it in 35 years.

A similar device is what I have in my car, it's called an AFR (air fuel ratio)
meter.
The one you have seems to be like the ones that home heating service technicians would use for Natural Gas, Butane or Propane heating devices.
If it can be used for automotive purposes, unless it can be set up to be used under driving conditions, I can,t see it giving the same results the units that can be installed in cars today provide.

I like it! I wish it was mine, even though I already have two A/F meters on my test stand (Test mostly V8's, ya' know.)

What is the best air fuel ratio tester to buy for home shop use? I remember some saying a wide band , but what brand does the best job for best price
and will read on a broader scale?
