Great looking car! Somebody mentioned similarity to '39 Bentley, and I see that, but I also see a little bit of three wheel Morgan in it too (might just be me).

Marvin, its an ash frame clad in aluminium NO FIBRE!The chassis has been lowered by 4” and has extended front dum irons. It has also been modified to a longer wheel base. Model A Engine fitted with a Model B crank shaft
* Line bored shell bearings conversion to rods and mains
* Cross drilled crank shaft
* Lightened flywheel
* Fully balanced
* Mild camshaft
*Aluminium Cylinder head fitted – I.O.E type with 2” inlet valves

An IOE cylinder head ! Would sure like to see a picture of that and know who made it. Thats neat.

OK thank you Woody, Did you form the metal or have it done, looks like a great job of making it. I have done Collision Repair for over 40 years but forming that boat tail is beyond my skills. I did make a 1/4 panel for a Desota once using door skins from some extra doors. It turned out pretty good and I think the fender skirts would even fit. The owner moved away before he finished the car. I didn't have the fender skirts to fit to the panel when I was putting everything together. I have a friend that can really fabricate sheet metal. He is doing a 53 Chev Convertible and has even made the 1/4panels from scratch.

Sadly, I am unable to claim the credit for the work. I have taken a body that needed finishing, and improved the aesthetics, the engine was also there in its converted form but sadly needed a lot of work to 'finish' it. The teething troubles turned into many pounds worth of restitutions that should have been easy fixes when created. I experienced a tremendous learning curve but ultimately have a much better grasp of Model A's.

I think they (Belcher Engineering in UK) only made 6 of them. I know the whereabouts of 3 running in cars and another (maybe) still under a bed, but the others who knows?

Combustion chambers modelled on McKee (sp?) heads which again are pretty rare

Left hand drive must make life so much easier!
For us RHDers we have the exhaust and the steering box on the same side.
It one wants to retain the original steering and light switch, free flow exhausts are a problem unless you poke the straight out the side of the bonnet(Hood?)
It looks so simple in the photo.

Hi, yes they are attached, i had them fabricated, then the brackets are welded to the back on the brake drum so the turn with the wheel.
