33/34 Floor pan and subrail color
A respected friend says his floor pan and thus subrails are the color of the car body. This makes sense because of painting of the body and the welds after the body is attached to the floorpan/subrail assembly. BUT on my 34 seden the floor pan paint under the OEM webing looks black (green car). Is this some black tar pigment bleeding from the webing or are some subrails and/or floor pans painted black.
On this car the previous owner shot primer on everything so I can only see OEM under the webing...on another car I have it has surface rust in exposed areas of the floor pan but I am not ready to tear apart the car from the chassis just to check color...so your help is appreciated Thanks Ed Solari |

Re: 33/34 Floor pan and subrail color
I believe floor pans should be painted body color.

Re: 33/34 Floor pan and subrail color
My 32 sedan has only original primer on the inside floor.
