34 Roadster Upholstery Question
The top and upholstery in my ’34 roadster is at least 30 years old. The car is a driver (not a show car) and I have owned it for about 25 years. In spite of this, the upholstery is in pretty good condition except for the trim (hidem?) around the doors. I just received a kit from LeBaron Bonney and my wife tells me that she will help to install it. The kit includes the hidem, four small metal corner pieces and about eight nails. It all looks exactly like what is in there now. No installation instructions were included. My question is how the hidem is attached (glued?) to the ersatz leather door panels? Any help/suggestions on this will be much appreciated.
Thanks, Robert |
