On the Topic of Zinc Running Board Edges
Any surefire way to shine them up? Mine were restored in the 70s and were wrapped in newspaper and got some spotting and white rust on them. Not going to replace them again.
Tried rubbing compound. Tried light sanding/steel wool. Thanks, Steve |

any mild acid should work to get rid of the stains, lemon juice, vinegar, then a good metal polish.

Auto Sol works well an a bit of fine 000 steel wool. Should polish it right up.
