'34 Pickup Windshield Rattle
Annoying clatter from the top of the windshield. Once the speed is up to 40 mph or so, it goes away. Does not happen with windshield swung out to the first notch. Tried a foam strip; - no help.
Ideas? |

Re: '34 Pickup Windshield Rattle
Ideas? Dunno, remove wiper blade and arm, see if the noise is still there. Process of elimination begins....

Use some blue painters tape around the frame and the glass. Glass maybe rattling in the frame.

Re: '34 Pickup Windshield Rattle
I had the same problem on my Model A. I injected motor oil into the windshield frame. No problem for 20 years.

Re: '34 Pickup Windshield Rattle
Yes, I had a rattle in my '32 pickup that I thought was the windshield and, like you say, turned out to be a door rattling.
