Which Fan Belt '34
I haven't changed my fan belt in 24 years. It still looks good but since I'm doing some work on the car I want to get a new belt. The one on there now is a Dayco Top Cog Gold Label 22570GL. A google search doesn't find the belt. The number has probably changed over the years. Anyone know the correct belt and the best place to get one?
Thanks, Tom |

If this is the part number 22570GL-3 it is cross referenced by NSN 3030008443409. If correct there are several in the cross reference list.

My number doesn't have the "-3". I wonder if that means 3 in a package?

I'm not smart enough to know what the different letter/numbers at the end refer to. There is a 22570 & a 22570GL-3.

Re: Which Fan Belt '34
Go to NAPA and purchase their FHP Belt #5L570. I found this belt to fit my '34....

Try a Gates # B54. Worked for me.

Re: Which Fan Belt '34
Just don't buy one form the Parts Houses -It will come with the correct Ford Logo on it but it will be to tight. I made mine fit but I'm sure the tightness contributed to the stress fracture in the inlet manifold and the generator falling through the radiator ! New Inlet manifold, New radiator and New Gates B-54 Belt !

Re: Which Fan Belt '34
NAPA does sell the B54 it is 57" and made by Gates, it does not have the cogs. Appears more like the Ford original belt . They come with some paint marking on the back side but a swipe with a rag with some reducer removes all traces.
