My personal preference is for a stock replacement 39-48 cylinder. Use all stock 39-48 fittings and hoses.

Mart.

If you are using stock hydraulic Ford brakes (39-48) use the stock Ford master cylinder for those years.

If you want a dual reservoir m/c there is this:
Early ford 3 bolt master cylinder w/dual reservoirs – Carrillo customs speed and coachworks
Early ford 3 bolt master cylinder w/dual reservoirs

all new 3 bolt master cylinders combine tradition and a little modernization for added safety. No more need for a adapter.
Master cylinder is 1” bore. No built in residuals. May need residual valves and proportioning valve added to brake lines.

works with drum/drum and disk/drum.

Trying to get the earlyv8garage to respond. They make a great conversion kit for mechanical brake Fords. I like the 62/63 Cad dual for drum/drum same tubing as 39 up Fords. Newc
