Default ‘34 Roadster Side Curtains

Thank you Robert Hoops for letting me borrow (for months) your original a set of mint original side curtains. I bought jumbled set from Wizzernick, and then was able to compare and modify them to work perfectly on my Rd.

My car came with a full set of LB soft goods, but no irons. Today, I assembled the full set up. My interest in fully stock cars includes imagining when these cars were bought new at the dealership. Trying to conjure the conversation between the Salesman and the buyer, “and here is the set of Side Curtains to put on during inclement weather”…when we all know, and can see plain as day where all the water will come streaming in.

Interesting too you can fully snap up the passenger side from the outside for your companion, but as the driver, you get in, but there are at least one, maybe two snaps you could never get to, unless your friend snapped you in, and off you go into the rain and mud…sounds like an adventure to me!

Why would you think that the design intent was that they could be installed from inside the car, especially since there's nowhere to store them except under the front seat and they take up a fair amount of space?

David G, I didn’t think that, I never once considered having to put them together while sitting on the inside of the car. I’m saying when you’re in the car with sets completely on, there’s at least one snap that you can’t reach while sitting inside
