Default A lovely drive on a Spring day in my '36

Beautiful warm, sunny day; drove about 75 miles in my '36 pickup-what could be better? In the Marin headlands overlooking the Pacific and SF Bay(my "backyard"), and up Mt. Tamalpais.
1st photo is the coast south of SF, 2nd and 3rd in the headlands, 4th overlooking the Pacific/Bolinas lagoon, last a view of SF in the distance

I think you're really seeing that tanker stuck in the Suez Canal . . .

Glad folks like the pics-it's not the Alps or the Rockies but it has its own charm. On a clear day you may not see Russia, or the Suez tanker, but you can see the Farallon Islands wildlife preserve 32 miles away. It's a scratched up old truck but drives great and lots of fun-always gets many honks and thumbs up.The rear crossmember repair I mentioned in the past has been perfect.

GB, it doesn't have a patch on your area (San Juan Islands)-my older son lives in Bellingham, I love the ferry rides up around there.
Lanny, it's a Trico vacuum powered fan-turn towards your face for summer, towards the windshield for (minimal) defrost in the winter-no regular defroster set up in these old trucks
Tinker-close; photos were on Rdigecrest Blvd on Mt Tamalpais, just off California Route 1 (the Coast Highway). I live basically right on Route 1, just over the Golden Gate Bridge from SF

hi Adam, yes, I've had a few old vehicles back in the day with the fan like that.

I'm talking about the little blurry object, at about 11 o'clock high. Looks like Sputnik.

That's either a UFO or a booger on the windshield.

Just a chip in the glass-not in my direct line of sight so not worth replacing the windshield-I should have read the question more closely; the fan is at 7 o'clock, not 11
