Default 8BA Flathead crankcase breather tube

Not the draft tube, the little short one under the intake? I'm getting close to assembling a Canadian 8BA and need one. Don't see any of the dealers selling one. Worst case scenario, I'll find some small diameter exhaust pipe and split it and weld it. Seems like a lot of trouble tho.

There should be a pile of these around here somewhere.
As many blocks that have been cracked and discarded,,,,pieces like this usually are saved.
I’m sure someone on here would have one to ship your way,,,,if you make the request.
You can make your own,,,,,but the factory piece is right on the money .

Oh yeah,,,,your block looks great,,,,should make an excellent engine when finished.

I wouldn't think copper or aluminum would be good choices, I'd be afraid vibration would grind away on them. If someone has a spare laying around in their horde, I'd be more than happy to pay for one. I'll make one if I have to.

Found one . If you have some chainlink fence top rail I can give you dimensions.
I can get one out by sat , just donate the shipping charge to your local animal shelter .

If you cut that tube roughly in half, a Dorman 555-023 freeze plug will fit perfectly in the top end of that original bottom piece. Then, use a 3/8" compression bulkhead fitting such as this 3/8" compression bulkhead fitting (through freeze plug): IMSBOLT.com #18090, or good parts store source, that will bolt through a hole drilled in the freeze plug. See our PCV/8BA complete thread with pictures and parts list at this link below. DD
