Caster, Camber, and Toe
I just finished replacing the control arm bushings on my 1956 Victoria. The car has radial tires and I'm wondering if there are some better alignment specs to use rather than the factory specs (which were, of course, for bias tires).
Thanks, Bill

Re: Caster, Camber, and Toe
Try to find an older gray haired alignment guy. Radial tires usually want less toe in. The factory specs work good on my 55 for the other two.

Re: Caster, Camber, and Toe
Use factory specs. Set my 50 Coupe and 51 F1 that way. I have over 10,000 miles on the 50's radial tires and 5,000 miles on the F1's radial tires. The tires are still showing no wear and the alignment is true.

Use the factory specs. I got flamed on another site for answering the same question. When I mentioned it to the gray haired guy that set up my 57 he just laughed. Yeah, he mentioned the toe-in situation but I wouldn't notice it. Two years later, car drive fine & no tire wear.
