36 dash lights
I don't get much light to the instruments. My system is 12 v and think the bulbs I'm using are 3cp.
Much of the light is just going up to back of the dash. Have any of you tried anything different > I am wondering if there is a bulb holder that will slip into those clips that can direct the light downwards. Or is there LED bulbs available same size as original? thanks for any ideas . Terry |

Re: 36 dash lights
I get plenty of light to everything except one gauge on the right side. Have been tryinng to figure out how to mount another light, closer to the green plastic thingy but haven't figured it out yet. I'm still 6V with no problems at all.

Re: 36 dash lights
Can LED bulbs be adapted? I am experimenting with using an LED bulb in my 12V 1940 Ford domelight. Check this site. www.superbrightleds.com

Re: 36 dash lights
Terry, The dash bulbs were a 6v #63 bulb with 3 cp (candle power). Try using a #81 6v 6cp bulb. The #81 is the same size as the #63 but has twice the candle power.
