Default Going to Napa

I want to get a set of points & a Condenser For my 1930. When I go there do I ask for Points & Condenser for the 30 ? Need part numbers for these items. Are these items a direct Fit ?

Why not just buy them from the Model A parts houses. They'll be in stock and the right parts, and much lower cost.

Gee, I wish our NAPA had those parts.......
With the cost of shipping and the time it takes to cross the boarder........I'd gladly get them from NAPA!

i crossed the echlin numbers to standard and came up with this.. i doubt the condenser would be the good short proof version

FD1718 points cost me 20.00
FD11 condenser cost me 10.76

my jobber has them both in stock
maybe ill order them to check it out

The last time I tried to buy a set of points and a condenser for a Model A from NAPA The counter man told me they didn't have them. "Look again, I said. I just bought a set a few months ago." He turned the screen towards me and said "Yes, last July you bought the last set we had and we didn't reorder them."

Over the years, somebody did an excellent job of cross listing A parts with NAPA part numbers. I had a copy that I can't find. Perhaps some body can repost it. BTW, the NAPA store in Durango has 39-48 Ford hydraulic brake parts as well as a good supply of 8N stuff.
