Default 40 Pickup Bed floor kit

Hi Folks,

We are new to this forum and are the owners of a 1940 Ford Pickup -- new mechanicals throughout as a resto-mod/hot rod but all original 40 Ford steel body. We already redid the interior and our next project is to replace the wooden floor in the bed.

It is beautiful from underneath the truck, but bad on top so it was fancy at some point but has to go now. We were just curious if anyone had used a kit from a supplier they liked and if so, which one? Or you know of problems with certain suppliers which is always good info to have too.

Any help is appreciated.

If the existing wood is sound why not just refinish it or maybe flip it over? That said you can't do any better than Bruce Horkey. He's been doing truck beds for a long time.

Originally these beds had metal floors. Are you looking for the metal or wood for your bed floor?
