Basically, the taller Model A radiators with the modern twist off caps are 30-31. The shorter versions with the fine threaded caps are 28-29.

The shorter radiators are distinguished further by being "Funnel top" or "straight tube" with the funnel tops being the earlier feature replaced by the straight tube in production. Most funnel tops you see are "original" as I don't believe anyone has reproduced them until the current "Brass Works" repop.

A shroud on the funnel top is an indication of an "earlier" radiator.
