It's the same for trucks, 5 qts.

Take a picture of yours and post it. Things get swapped around through the years, maybe someone can identify it.

Hi. This is the tube I have on my 8BA (8 21/64"). My dipstick is about 16" long, that is about 2" too long. Does anyone know what the correct length is from where the dipstick hits the top of the tube to the "FULL" mark?
(8BA with 8 21/64" tube) I am running a modified sump so the 5 quart method won't work.
Thanks.

Hi Coop.
No. I have an 8RT sump, but I have chopped a fairly large piece from the front to give clearance for R&P steering.

Just changed my oil in the '48 (8BA). It took the 5 quart container and
one more bottle. I think the static oil level is between 1/16 & 1/8" over the FULL
line on the dip stick.
