Replacing a Steering Box ~ Is there a book?
I will be replacing the steering box in my 1946 Ford 1/2 pickup truck. I'm having a core rebuilt by Lares Corp. in MN.
To make things a bit easier, is there a reference book I should have on hand with regard to the wiring & ignition key setup? Or is it straight forward once I get into disassembling everything? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! |

I purchased a used 1946 Ford 1/2 Ton PU steering box assembly from a salvager in MN. I then had it shipped to LARES CORP. in MN. to be rebuilt. I will be installing this rebuilt 1946 Ford steering gear in my truck. |
