Re: flathead 94 carb question
Its a truck for sure most likely a "EAB" but could be an 8RT or a 8BA all would work but EAB would be the correct one. I can rebuild it for you with all USA parts. PM of interested, aldo have kits if you want to go that way. ken ct. After thinking it may be correct as 8RT.

Re: flathead 94 carb question
The one on the left is straight-neck Car, the one on the right is wedge-base Truck. (There are other differences, just look at the air cleaner mounting)

Re: flathead 94 carb question
There are some EAB carbs on ebay right now, you would need to have it rebuilt. maybe one of the Fordbarn guys has a spare eab carb. if you are going for a correct original engine bay you might also need the 52 car air cleaner?

Re: flathead 94 carb question
These carburetors were new 61+ years ago. Most if not all have been rebuilt, and for various reasons the original carburetor was replaced with something else. The 7RT (truck) and EAB (car) are identical (except for the top) as to the basic castings, inside and out.
Should also mention, a lot of these carburetor bowls/tops were mismatched by do-it-yourselfers and big rebuilding houses alike.

Re: flathead 94 carb question
There was a 7RT which had a ball type choke lever to 47 i think and a 8RT which had a cable brass swivile w/set screw for cable choke levers 48 trucks. And a third type which was cable to almost to the end and had a spring loaded rod type connector on it. Confused yet. ken ct.
