Snyder's Tires
Hi, I see Snyders has some inexpensive tires, I think they are the " Lukas " brand and run about a hundred bucks. Any comments on these tires? Thanks

Re: Snyder's Tires
Lucas tires are good tires, and a good company.

I bought a set of 5 Lucas tires from another source....I like them and they are reasonably priced.

Re: Snyder's Tires
Although not my choice, a close friend bought a set last year and he loves them. Wayne

Re: Snyder's Tires
From what I understand, the $100 Lucas tires are nylon and can develop flat spots after sitting for a while. I have a set of Sears tires I bought many years ago that are nylon and will do the same thing. The flat spots go away after driving a bit and pose no problem, but if I know my truck will not be used for a few weeks I just put it up on my jack stands and get the weight off the wheels.
My truck is driver and I plan to replace my old, cracked Sears tires with a set of new Lucas tires. |
