Re: Rich Bell passed away
Richmond was a kind and knowledgeable Model A man, a real asset to the hobby.
I bought numerous parts from him in the last 10-15 years, all were exactly as described and fairly priced. He was also an avid vintage license plate collector. |

Re: Rich Bell passed away
Sad to hear about his passing. Over the years bought many parts from him all at fair prices. When I bought my first part years ago and he saw my address he asked if I knew anything about Bedford Va. and the story of the Bedford Boys. I had met a few of them and helped with the D Day Memorial dedication, that started a long friendship. Rest in Peace Soldier

Re: Rich Bell passed away
Wow, to think he was born before the Model A.
By all accounts he lived a full life, and had an effect on thousands of people’s lives thru his passion for our hobby. I’ll definitely be raising a glass for him. |

Re: Rich Bell passed away
We grow too soon old and too late smart.
He verified the first, but was a walking rebuttal to the second. At age 25 when I lived in Sandwich, I would get on my bike and ride all the way out to Wellfleet. I would surprise him in his shop because parking was limited - and he hadn't heard a car pull up. Happy Model A'ing up there Rich. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Joe K
