Default Update on how it is running

I now have a few hundred miles on my '41 Pickup and feel it is running right. In case it is of any benefit to anyone this is what I have. Checked the plugs (Autolite 0.30 gap) and they are clean and have a light color. Not running thermostats now and it runs around 170 in traffic. Starts right up and takes off fine without any warm up. Don't need fuel regulator. Using stock mechanical pump with electric pump backup to fill carbs before starting.

276 CID merc. crank
L100 cam
Offie 400 heads
Offie triple intake manifold
Three 97's with 43 jets, 95 power valves, straight linkage
Crab ignition

Great when they are running correctly isn't it?

That's the perfect street engine Roger. I build a lot just like that. Some like a milder cam so I usually use the Max-1. Walt

Ole Ron recommended the L100 and I like it. Drives OK for me and has a nice idle.
