Tell them if the agent shows up with cash, they can do what ever they want from there, aka ship it or what ever.

Scammers won't bother after that.

But yeah, that's a scam. I just like to have fun with them

Nah........I'm thinking the guy wanting to pay me more money than my asking price, the ol' lady with the 1932 roadster that been in the garage since her husband won the Bonneville speed trails and now she just wants it to go to a good home for nothing, and the too hot chick wanting to get "Naughty" all fall under the same category......" If something is too good to be true it probably is! " .......I'm only 36 but, too many people forget those old sayings the meaning and thought behind them.

Love it !! its like the e mails i get when they respond to my requests for parts. "Hi i have the part you need in perfect condition, 120 british pounds, and shipped in 4 days." I always ask for pics and where it is located, then tell them i have a friend living near and he could come by and pay cash for it. never get an answer !!!

I did some checking when I received one of those responses from CraigsList.
The scammer wants your e-mail address (your e-mail address is not shown-Craigslist issues one through their site). If you respond to the inquiry from your own computer and send a reply, they then have your e-mail address. It's all done through a master site. I don't know how you can stop the process now.

As everyone else has already said. "SCAM" I have my '48 Merc on Craig's and have gotten the exact same reply. Scroll down on his reply on Craig's and hit the address (in blue) and this will notify Craig's as a scam. I have received 5 replys like this so far. If you do reply, ask for a land line phone number, his residential address, his full name, instruct CASH ONLY. Also enter his email on the internet. It will come up invalid. We really have to be careful these days. Good luck with your sale.
