Front Axle Movement
The grandkids were pretending to drive the Model A the other day and I happened to be in the front and noticed when the steering wheel was turned the front axle moved back and forth on the drivers side. I had replaced the wishbone rubber ball and related parts, but have a feeling there shouldn't be that kind of movement in the front axle from the force of the drag link or is some movement of the axle to be expected?

Re: Front Axle Movement
Might check the junction of the radius rod and axle and ensure the thru bolt is tight. Don't think there should be any movement.

Re: Front Axle Movement
Unfortunately that is the product of using those rubber wishbone ball kits. Not only do they affect steering, they also affect front brakes. Your options are to leave it as-is, -or restore the radius rod ball to 1.500" diameter again and install a new ball seat.
