Hi Kevin,
Just curious, why that color scheme? Looks great by the way. Mike

I had a Yamaha royalstar venture 1300 that I sold to get the motor rebuilt and I loved that bike and that was what the bike is painted I received this from my uncial when he passed so I wanted to get back on the road in his memory he had a couple strokes and lost his speech and was paralyzed on the lt side so I would work on the cars and take him for rides he also had a 1923 model t I was given both cars kevin 1930 model a tudor 1923 model t roadster p/u |

Re: got it done painted
Very nice, kwisor! You sure can't see the mistakes from my shop. Great that you are keeping those cars in the family and honoring your uncle.

Re: got it done painted
I use spray tack trim cement... Spray both surfaces and let it get tacky...
The front blocks are held to the body with wood screws |

Re: got it done painted
I find when you do if yourself you appreciate it more. You also see mistakes that are not obvious to others. Great job! Wayne

Re: got it done painted
I was thinking the same thing. My "paint booth" is our tool room with plastic draped to protect the garden tools and benches! With determination you can get good results even in a very challenging environment! (last picture)
However I sure wish there was a place where I could rent time in a real paint booth! Last edited by pgerhardt; 05-08-2016 at 03:27 PM. |

Re: got it done painted
You did a great job with your painting. A good paint booth and having everything laid out makes it a lot easier. You should not have any nibs with the good paint booth.

Re: got it done painted
Very nice paint job.
Wish I had the room you have, as it would make the work go so much better. |

Re: got it done painted
Kevin,
Your paint job looks good and I like the color. I to choose colors for my 190A that appeal to me rather than go with authentic colors.
