Default What color blue is used on the Model A

First off, thanks for taking time to read this. I'm Mike - nice to meet you.
The color I have seen is a dark blue with almost a purple look to it. Beautiful blue and exactly what I've wanted my whole life. As I can't find or afford a Model A, I'll have to settle for the Ford I do have.

I have a 1993 Ford Ranger XLT and hate metallic colors. It's going to be painted the blue color as soon as I figure out the color and manufacturers numbers. I found some pics on Google that say the paint color is Andalusian Blue but pictures can be deceiving when it comes to color. Any help would be great.

While I'm here, any idea what color the pinstripes are for a 28 to 30 Model A? I saw yellow, gold and white but was thinking of an robin's egg looking light blue (I think there was a two-tone panel-car on here with the light blue color.

I agree. Andalusite is dark, almost purple, looks black in the shade. A color that is really a knockout on a Model A.

My '28 is Andalusite Blue. The PPG color that now closest matches is from a later model Pugeot. Wish I could remember the number, but was painted by a young fellow who did the work from grand parents farm in MN.
