The one on the right viewing the photo, appears to be 28/29 and the one on the left is 30/31.
This shows them: http://www.fordgarage.com/pages/wishbones.htm

The one on the left is the later one the other is the earlier one ,they are interchangeable . I do not know the changeover date but would guess 28/29 had the early one and 30/31 the late one . I could not find them in the service bulletins maybe in the Judging Standards .

John in heavy rain dreary yet again Suffolk County England .

Mike, i answered this for you on FB.. The one on the left is forged cross rib design from late 29 to EOP, Right side is forged inverted U design from early 28 to late 28, however if the spring perch c shape was increased to 1/2 it was also used from late 28- to early 30

Thanks to you all for your help. I think it is now clear that the left one is the later one, and the one on the right is the earlier one.

Rotorwrench, the link to Ford Garage is confusing, because they show a 30/31 on top, and a 32 below. The picture is not really that clear either

The early one is on the bottom with a subscript explanation that doesn't pop to the eye easily. I had to do a double take to notice it myself. You have to read the subscript so see what it's all about since the photo seems to be part of the statements above it.

I knew it wasn't for the 32 & later since they are different by a good measure.
