Default great tires

I just bought and installed a set of 21x450 Goodyear tires from Burt's and boy, what a great ride! I had worn out a set of Firestones after several years. There really seems to be a difference in how much softer the ride is with the Goodyears in my 29 coupe.Hope they last, Bill

Get a computerized wheel alignment and they will last.
I to would only go with the goodyear's.

I have many antique cars and whenever I add to my collection I immediately put a set of 5 or 6 Goodyears on. I never begrudge the extra money spent because the ride and wear is far better than the others. Wayne

I believe any new tires will be a big improvement over "worn out" tires of any brand. JMO

Nobody can argue with that suggestion. Wayne

It took a little arm twisting to get Goodyear to do the 21" tires but when they decided to do it they really did a great job. I've had them on the sedan for several years now.

Computer alighnment? Who what where? Every shop I have talked to says the A is to old for a alighnment program. And if it's not on the computer the don't know how to do it. One guy said he could do it but he had an acetalene torch in one hand and a crow bar in the other. I was skeptical.

The previous post calling the chain store technicians / mechanics idiots was very unfair and not accurate! I know a couple of technicians that work at a chain store and they certainly are not idiots. They are well trained professionals that have access to modern equipment. Don't hesitate to go to a chain store such as Discount Tire or Goodyear Tire. Wayne
