Shock ID
I have what I believe to be original Model A shocks in what looks like pretty good condition but there are some differences that I'm not aware of on these.
3 of them have a check valve in the top of one fixed vane and the other has 2 in both fixed vanes. I do not think they are reproductions but if they are they look well done. Covers are definitely original. The inside cover has a groove machined into the shat bushing. I assume this is just for lubrication. Thanks for any help.

Re: Shock ID
They are Model a
The one on the left is an earlier shock; right likely could be later 31 They do look fairly clean The one on the right has a floating ball check valve The other has a caged ball check valve and is more difficult to clean out. But you do have to clean them out till you can hear them rattle. Otherwise they won’t seal up with back pressure |

Re: Shock ID
Anyone got a diameter for the floating check ball. These have been apart before and the one in there seems too small to work properly.
