Default Dave Wilton Transmisson

I know my 29 has a Dave Wilton 4 speed OD but I cannot find any info on this man or his transmissions. Are they still around or do you know of a distributor?

Would appreciate any info.

Search other threads. Dave Delmue in San Jose , Ca. used to make a similar setup with the F150 4sp top loader. You may need to search for his current contact info. See attached for a typ. F150 from the period many use.

When I hear Dave Wilton I seem to think MT Car Products, mtcarproducts.com, (530) 872-0122. I am not sure why but you might call them and inquire. I believe Dave retired a couple of years ago.

I bought a lot of parts from Dave Wilton in the 90s . I don't know if Dave is still in business or have contact info . Dave was one of the best ever people to deal with .

It was probably Dave Delmue. He made the 4speed overdrive kit for my Tudor. He still sells them. Nice guy to deal with. [email protected]

Dave Wilton started the F150 conversion in the early 1990s. Dave Delmue helped him on the project, then took over the 4 speed kit in 1996. Dave Delmue has just finished building his #184th "Ultimate Overdrive Transmission" (AKA F150 Overdrive kit).

Dave Wilton is still around, but really slowed down. While I never met him, I've been told that he is a really great guy.
