Default Using Pay Pal

When you use Pay Pal, always read the fine print. It maybe convenient to some but convenience has a cost....

Your second PayPal rant in a day. Had a bad experience, have we??
Can't say I disagree with you but you might be better to take up the matter with PP.

Looks like we aren't the only ones that don't like PP.

Mike's A-Ford-Able does't take PP either.

Pay Pal CHARGES extra % when used, so vendors don't like it. I have a SEPARATE checking account devoted to Pay Pal just to keep it far from my normal banking.

Why is there a second thread on PayPal? I thought the first one was enough for everyone interested to express their opinion. Simple, if you don't like PayPal, DON'T use it.

From what I can see, vendors LOVE PayPal. It increases their business by making it super easy for customers to pay. The fees are the same (or less) than taking a credit card for payment.

I may be lazy, but I'd have a hard time going down town to get a money order or writing a check, then mailing it to the vendor, then waiting for it to clear so the vendor can ship my items. Two clicks and I've paid for the item and it is on the way to me that day or the next. If a vendor ONLY accepts checks or money orders I will probably continue to look for someone that takes PayPal or a credit card.

BTW, every check you send contains your bank name and address, Your address, your bank account number, your routing number, and your signature. If you are one of the paranoid types, this is probably not a good way to pay for any item.

Vendors do pay a premium for Pay Pal, just like they do with Credit Cards.
I use Pay Pal daily to send and receive money. No complaints here.

I have a Pay Pal Credit card linked to my PP account, and nothing else, so paying with PP is just like using the credit card, only easier. When I sold an electric wiper to John in the UK he paid via PP and the amount just showed up in my PP account. Very easy and convenient. No complaints. Also, I turn the points earned by the PP credit card into Amazon gift cards - another convenience and good thing.
